Amanda Perraton

Amanda is the Director of Children’s Services for Warrington Borough Council, and also the North West Chair of the Association of Directors of Children’s Service. She is also an active member of the Chief Social Workers National Practice Group. Amanda is a registered social worker, with over 25 years’ experience across residential care, frontline social work and management, all within a local authority context. Amanda is a fierce ambassador for children and the sector, with a passion and drive to ensure early intervention and support to avoid the need for statutory intervention. Amanda feels privileged to support the Practice Guides to ensure they are a helpful tool to the sector over future years.
