Sheffield Hallam University’s Social and Economic Research Institute comprises over 100 researchers, supported by expert professional services staff, from across the social science disciplines. They are mostly clustered within the Centre for Behavioural Science and Applied Psychology (CeBSAP), the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) and Sheffield Institute of Education Centre for Research and Knowledge Exchange (SIRKE). Together, they have a long record of research and evaluation across a wide range research methodologies, and they have worked with several What Works Centres (WWCs) over the past decade.
