Call for research

Foundations – What Works Centre for Children and Families, is seeking proposals from research organisations for delivery of research into the service design and commissioning processes in local authorities; including the stakeholders involved in influencing or making decisions, and the barriers and enablers to designing and/or commissioning evidence-based programmes.

The research will need to be delivered between September and December 2023, and is intended to set a robust foundation for the development of a revised Evidence Toolkit for the newly merged what works centre and new Practice Guides that the what works centre will produce aimed at supporting evidence-informed service design and commissioning decisions.

Applications must be submitted to practice_guides@foundations.org.uk by no later than 12 noon, Friday 21 July 2023.
