Race Equity Expert Advisory Group
Independent expertise strengthening our governance and our commitment to race equity.
As part of Foundations’ commitment to becoming an anti-racist organisation, we have established a Race Equity Expert Advisory Group (REEAG).
This group plays a vital role in our Anti-Racism Transformation Plan, sitting within the Governance pillar.
The REEAG brings together a diverse range of professional and non-professional experts, including individuals with lived experience, to provide independent oversight and accountability. Their work ensures that our transformation journey is both robust and inclusive.
What the REEAG does:
- Advises and challenges Foundations on the implementation of our Anti-Racism Transformation Plan, including monitoring progress and scrutinising indicators of change.
- Strengthens governance by providing direct guidance to our Trustees and Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensures coherence across organisational development and programme activities related to anti-racism.
- Applies an intersectional lens to our work, recognising the interconnected nature of race equity with other forms of inequality.
- Supports sector leadership by advising on external communications and helping us share learning from our transformation journey.
- Coordinates contributions from our Senior Fellows for Race Equity, ensuring their insights are integrated and impactful.
Through the REEAG, Foundations is deepening its commitment to transparency, accountability, and meaningful change.
