Following the launch of the latest Practice Guide, Parenting Through Adversity – Parents of Children and Young People 11 to 18, we are holding an online session for local leaders to share more about the guide and how it can be used in practice. The Practice Guides are developed by Foundations and commissioned by Department for Education.
The Parenting Through Adversity Practice Guide (11–18), is the next in a series of national, evidence-based Practice Guides for leaders in children’s social care. Practice Guides bring together the strongest evidence from the UK and abroad about how best to achieve the objectives in the Children’s Social Care National Framework, and are designed to help local leaders plan and deliver effective support for children and families.
The session is aimed at local leaders and will provide the opportunity to hear from the Foundations team who developed the Practice Guide, and about the resources available to support you in reflecting on your local parenting offer.
