Sajid Humayun 

Senior Lecturer in Psychology and lead for public and third sector collaborations in the School of Human Sciences. His work has mainly focused on child and adolescent mental health problems and evaluating interventions. He led the first randomised controlled trial (RCT) of Functional Family Therapy outside of the US and is currently conducting the first efficacy RCT of FFT for adolescents at risk of gang violence and involvement in County Lines Drug Networks. He has also published more broadly on interventions for adolescent mental health and violence and challenges in evaluating them and has advised What Works Centres on interventions. (Updated Jan-24)
