Our Evaluation Partners help us to generate the actionable evidence that can shape and improve services to strengthen family relationships.
Evaluation Partners play a pivotal role in our work to build the evidence base around children and families, by designing and running independent evaluations of projects that are supported and funded by Foundations. Generating high-quality evidence is key in helping us to understand what works to support children and families, and gives us the information we need to achieve our vision that vulnerable children should have the foundational relationships they need to thrive in life.
Following our launch as Foundations, the national What Works Centre for Children & Families, we refreshed and strengthened our partnerships with organisations conducting research in the sector.
In July 2023, we launched an open call for Evaluation Partners, and during the autumn we appointed 44 organisations for the 2023-2025 period. Our partners were selected based on their expertise across a specified set of research methodologies, as well as their expertise in children’s social care and early intervention, and will be eligible to bid to conduct evaluations on our behalf.
